We the undersigned petition Hackney Council to prevent the demolition of 233 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JP known as ‘The Light’. We believe that to demolish The Light would deprive Hackney of a landmark, historic industrial building which is a part of Hackney’s social and industrial heritage; resulting in both the loss of a thriving business and of valuable local jobs for local people.
